Sugar Scrub Ingredients
Our sugar scrubs are handmade and include the following ingredients.
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate - A very gentle coconut-based product that makes this a foaming product. Often used in baby products due to its mildness.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine - A very mild foaming agent.
Stearic Acid - A fatty acid made from vegetables, used to thicken the product.
Vegetable Glycerin - Derived from plant oils, this is used to hydrate the skin and cleanse.
Optiphen (preservative) - Prevents gross things like mold and bacteria from growing in the container, as this will happen with any product that is exposed to water and lives in a warm environment (like the shower). Paraben-free and Formaldehyde-free.
Rice Bran Oil - Provides moisturizing and skin-softening benefits, and acts as a carrier oil for fragrance.
Cane Sugar - Used as a natural exfoliant.
Fragrance - A blend of natural and synthetically created oil that provides the scent wafting from the shower steamer.
Mica - Minerals that have been synthetically colored. Provides color in the product.
